The reason Ms. Lusk decided to form innovations was because she wanted to offer everyone the opportunity to have quality publications at a fair price. It is her belief that many agencies and design firms overcharge for their services. Therefore, she decided to start innovations and keep her cost low so she could provide a quality job at a resonable price. With today’s technology, Ms. Lusk is able to do most of the work involved, thus saving her clients money on photography, web site design, printing and color scanning.
Ms. Lusk, a recognized expert in media arts and communication, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Advertising from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her specialties include unique projects involving creative approaches with print and on-line media. Ms. Lusk has created and placed the advertising for various educational and community institutions and served as an adjunct professor at Emory & Henry College. She aides in the on-line, as well as print advertising and publication development, for various types of businesses. Innovations offers web site design as well as hosting services.
Ms. Lusk has recently written her first children’s book, The “Big Fat” Tree. While publishing her book, Ms. Lusk decided to expand her business into the book publishing business. She now publishes books as well obtains copyright and ISBN numbers for anyone wanting to publish their own children’s book.
Prior to establishing innovations, Ms. Lusk was the Director of Marketing at Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Her duties included the design and publication of all college publications including recruitment materials. From 1983 to 1986 she was an artist and pattern designer of crafts and educational kits sold exclusively by Wal-Mart.
